Membership

The purpose of membership is to join with other followers of Christ in building a community of worship committed to prayer, the study of the Word of God, the celebration of the sacraments, outreach and fellowship. We are committed to obeying Christs Great Commandments: love God and love people, and his Great Commission: to make disciples of all nations.

Membership in the church is granted to those who have received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and have been baptized. Members are committed to support the ministries and missions of the church and to use their spiritual gifts for the furthering of the kingdom of God. Members are urged to live according to the Behavioral Covenant of United Covenant Church:

 

Behavioral Covenant

With Gods help, I will live a Biblical, Christ-centered life. I will seek to treat people with love, kindness, patience and respect. I will try to be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry. As far as it depends on me, I will live at peace with everyone. I will forgive and ask for forgiveness when necessary.
